Resource English/Dyslexia

Students and Parents- All assignments for my classes have been listed below AND sent in an email.  A hard copy is available in the school office. You may use notebook paper, if needed, just make sure everything is clearly dated.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time. If you would like to call or text me, please email me and I will share my cell phone number. If you are unable to email, you can contact the school office for my number.  I appreciate all of your help and understanding. We will all get through this TOGETHER!

 AMI DAYS- The students will have 5 days, following the AMI day, to turn in the material.


Day 1-5 (March 16th-March 20th)

Current Events:


You are assigned to watch or read current news from a mainstream news source (NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, CNN, Arkansas Democrat Gazette newspaper, etc.) at least 3 days per week AND complete all of the questions below EACH of the three days.  You can use a television, newspaper, or website from a phone or computer.  I have listed some additional sites below. Feel free to write the answers on notebook paper, but if you do, please clearly list the date and news source.   If you have any questions, please email me.

Current Events #1-#9 (Remember to complete 3 of these per week!)

NEWS SOURCE: ____________________________________ (name of television network channel or name of website or name of newspaper)

TITLE or TOPIC: _____________________________ (Example: Coronavirus, or Seals in the zoo)

Answer each question with a complete sentence. REMEMBER- you must have a subject (noun) and a predicate (verb). It must be a complete sentence containing at least 6+ words!! Think and be creative!! Use lots of adjectives (descriptive words)
