To All of the Mustang Family:
After numerous meetings and discussions today with local and state school and health officials, we have determined to pivot to virtual for our PHS campus until Monday, January 25th. We have had a significant increase in cases and quarantines over the past couple of days. Perryville High School students should attend digitally and access their teachers online and through Google classroom. Teaching and learning will continue throughout this process. There will be no extracurricular activities on the high school campus during this time. Perryville Elementary School will continue to operate normally in a traditional setting at this time. We are continually monitoring both campuses.
Parents PLEASE keep your students at home. Social distancing and wearing masks is so important! Be safe and protect our children! The spike after Winter Break was in part due to meetings and get-togethers that occurred during those two weeks. The safety and health of our students are of the utmost priority for our school. We must work together to get through this pandemic. This is a critical period for us to be able to minimize the negative impact that could occur. Stay safe and take care of each other!
Walt Davis, Perryville Superintendent
